My Body is Made of Water began as a community dance project during 2020-2021, where members of Glada Damers Simsällskap (ages 65-95) worked together with choreographer Jenny Larsson to develop synchronized water choreographies at Frölundabadet in Gothenburg. An underwater camera was purchased, and the women’s movements beneath the water began to be documented.

This short film was made as part of a community dance project launched by Västra Götaland Regionen.
